Volzerk: Monsters and Lands Unknown is a crossbreeding role-playing game that brings characters and monsters together for epic battles. Players will be able to explore the world and raise legendary monsters with a deep, immersive breeding system. The story revolves around the protagonist Fina, and her journey to revive the legendary guardian dragon of the island of Fort Lemuria, Volzerk. Players will join Fina and a colorful cast of friends in raising and discovering monsters to face off against powerful enemies.

The monster breeding system itself is quite elaborate. From what the game overview on steam has shown, players can raise any monster of their choosing. They will be able to crossbreed two monsters to create a whole new monster, one that will inherit its parents’ abilities. A multiplayer function also seems to be hinted at, as players can even crossbreed with their friends.

The game will be available on Android, iOS and PC via Steam. Volzerk: Monsters and Lands Unknown is COLOPL’s first attempt at developing a multi-platform game and Steam title. The game will first launch in Japanese later this month with the promise to add English language support in a future update. For now, take a peek at what’s in store by viewing the trailer below.
