This new teaser trailer reveals Assassin’s Creed Codename Red set in feudal Japan, putting many fans at ease knowing that this highly requested historical period is now being explored within the popular action-adventure video game series. Not much information is provided, but this short snippet of cinematic footage shows a Shinobi unsheathing their hidden blade atop a pitched roof.

Ubisoft also revealed an open-world action RPG Assassin’s Creed game coming to mobile devices, which takes the series back to the setting of China. But that’s not all.
