Ubisoft Giving Away Two Games This December

To celebrate a dual ten year anniversay, Ubisoft is giving away Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag and RTS, World In Conflict. The two titles will be available for download from UPlay . Both titles are much loved in their respective communities and this is an opportunity many PC gamers will not want to pass up.

World In Conflict will be available from today until December 11th and includes the expansion pack, Soviet Assault. The giveaway marks the ten year anniversary since the game’s official release. Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag will be available for free download as well from December 12th to December 18th, marking the tenth anniversary of the industry-changing Assassin’s Creed.

For those who may not be aware, World In Conflict is an RTS set in an alternate history. As the Soviet Union invades the US in the late 80’s, player will assume the role of an American commander. It’ll be up to us to coordinate skirmishes and strategic attacks from the sky to defend the US territories.

Black Flag takes players much further back than the 1980’s as we play the role of Edward Kenway. A pirate disguised as an assassin, Kenway soon becomes embroiled in the politics between between the Assassins and the Templars across the colonial Caribbean Islands. Black Flag is widely considered the best Assassin’s Creed game ever made with its revolutionary naval combat going on to inspire Ubisoft’s upcoming Skull & Bones. Regardless of whether you've played it before, you may as well grab it. After all, it's FREE.

    The initiative is nice even if it is only on pc like every time. I do not understand why the offer never concerns consoles.
