The game will first launch in both North and South America on March 30. The day after, it will release in Australia, New Zealand, Europe and South Africa. It will be available in all of these regions as a digital download on the Nintendo eShop. Krome Studios have put together a list of accurate launch times on its official Kickstarter page.

Bush Rescue is a 3D platformer, set in an open-world based on Australia’s outback. Ty uses a vast variation of boomerangs to defeat enemies, ranging from ones set on fire to ones that explode. As well as being on-foot, some of the missions use different vehicles, such as helicopters, go-karts and mechs. This varies the gameplay and sets it apart from its predecessor, which also received a HD port last year.

As part of the crowdfunding campaign, Krome Studios have introduced a couple of new weapons into Ty 2. In tandem with the release date announcement, it has revealed the ‘Camerang’, which also inventively acts as the game’s photo mode.
