While NIS and NIS America didn’t have a booth at TGS 2018, they did hold an exclusive meeting and interview session for members of the press. In our meeting with NIS and NIS America we went over all their upcoming and recently released titles. As always, NIS America publishes and develops high-quality content and they presented a lot of games that are sure to be on your wishlist this year. However, 5 titles stood out from the rest and have the highest potential to be the big sellers. Here are the Top 5 Highlights from NIS America’s upcoming line-up.
5. SNK 40th Anniversary Collection
Retro gamers will rejoice for the upcoming release of the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection from SNK published by NIS America. The game is set to release with both a standard and limited edition for the Nintendo Switch. Filled with at least 23 confirmed games as well as an array of incredible features, the collection will warm the hearts of every retro gamer out there. 4. God Wars The Complete Legend
This title from Kadokawa Games published by NIS America will include the full game of God Wars: Future Past, all of its DLC and over 100 hours of new content. As well, the game’s mechanics have been updated and optimized for the Nintendo Switch. The game was released on September 4th solely for the Nintendo Switch. Fans of tactical RPGs should definitely give God Wars a try.

3. Metal Max Xeno
Metal Max Xeno is the newest release and one of the only English localized games in the Metal Max series. Developed by Kadokawa Games and published by NIS America, Metal Max Xeno is a post-apocalyptic, turn-based, tank-fighting JRPG. While that may sound like a mouthful, the concept is quite original and there really isn’t much like Metal Max currently in the North American market. If you like mech-fighting and turn-based games, as well as post-apocalyptic settings then Metal Max Xeno is a release you’ll want to pick up.

2. Killer 7
NIS America is showing retro gamers some love this year with yet another retro release. Killer 7 is set to be released on Steam in Fall of 2018, without a specific release date yet announced. NIS America clearly stated that the game is not a remake; it is not a remaster, but rather an enhanced port for the pc. The game will be optimized for 16:9, 1080p viewing. Killer 7 is a title that is well known in retro gaming circles and is one of the few retro games to retain a high value. If you have never played the game before and want to give it a try look out for this release in the next few months.

1.Labyrinth of Refrain
Labyrinth of Refrain is a recently released dungeon-crawling JRPG similar to games like Etrian Odyssey. With incredibly polished graphics, a beautiful soundtrack, great audio, and an intricate battle system, Labyrinth of Refrain is the current must-play dungeon-crawler on the Nintendo Switch. The game is also available on Steam and PS4.
