Nearly five months ago, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 + 2 came out on Xbox One, PS4, and PC. It proved to be a successful HD remaster of the first two Pro Skater games; the game was praised by critics and players, and it became the fastest game to sell 1 million copies. Next month on March 26, Pro Skater 1 + 2 will be available for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The Switch version will arrive this year, but no specific date has been announced.
Players can pull off some wicked tricks with Tony Hawk, Bucky Lasek, Downhill Jam, and other pro skaters in greater detail than ever before. Next-gen upgrades include 120 FPS on 1080p, 60 FPS on native 4K (though the Xbox Series S version will render at 1440p and upscale to 4K), spatial audio, and sharper dynamic shadows, reflections, lens flare, and textures.
As for the Switch port, the only known info is that it’s slated for 2021. No specific date has been announced thus far – though funnily enough, Nintendo and the real Tony Hawk made a brief back-and-forth on the day before Activision’s announcement.

Owners of the Digital Deluxe Edition can upgrade to next-gen for free, while those with the standard edition must pay $10 to do so. This version, in particular, includes retro gear for Create-a-Skater, retro skins for Tony Hawk, Steve Caballero, and Rodney Mullen, and access to the secret skater Ripper.
