Steel yourself for a relentless display of might and muscle…brawn and bravery…magic and mayhem! Inspired by heroic fantasy fiction, Tiny Barbarian DX combines engaging 2D platform action and combo-based hack-and-slash combat with retro-style pixel art and a loincloth-stirring chiptune soundtrack.
Jeff Ball, who is the composer of the newly released album, has worked on several game soundtracks in the past, including: Monkey Island 2: Special Edition, Steven Universe, and Mass Effect 3. Ball, who is a well respected musician in the gaming industry, has infused the soundtracks of Tiny Barbarian DX with driving beats a catch melodies – with each episode sporting its very own unique soundtrack. The new soundtrack has over three hours of content and can be purchased on iTunes.
"Tiny Barbarian DX was the first time I tackled a large scale chiptune soundtrack," noted Ball. "It was a rush to channel all the nostalgia from old NES games like MegaMan and Castlevania into a project like this."
