The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch has arrived in stores along with a short launch trailer. Nintendo’s latest collectible in the series features three games and a few other modes. The Legend Zelda, Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening are all included. Nintendo also even included the Japanese versions of the first two games, which hail from the NES era.
The Legend of Zelda Game & Watch hand-held also includes interactive timer and clock modes. The timer mode has Zelda II battles in the background. Try to beat as many enemies as you can before time runs out! Meanwhile, the clock screen has Zelda I in the background. You can take control of Link for some adventure in both of these modes.
Owners of Nintendo’s latest collectible will also find that it includes a new version of the 1980 Game & Watch title, Vermin. However, this time Link takes the spotlight! If you don’t have time to save in-game, you can freeze the game and it’ll start right where you left off.
One fan of the Legend of Zelda Game & Watch tweeted a nifty little discovery at Nintendo Life. It turns out that the triforce emblem on the back glows when the device is on. This is a pretty cool little touch.

It should be noted that The Zelda Game & Watch includes the original version of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, not the DX version. That version would’ve been better, but the device is still a neat little collectible regardless. However, its launch is not the only recent Zelda news. As you may know, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity recently got its second wave of DLC. New fighters joined the fray with new levels and story elements, too.
