The Witcher fans rejoice! Plenty of video content is on the way to satisfy our cravings for more Geralt related entertainment. The latest news on this comes in the form of YouTuber, noclip’s latest crowdfunded documentary on CD Projekt Red and their creative process for The Witcher as a whole. Some readers may already be aware of noclip’s previous documentary efforts, headed by Danny O’Dwyer. So far, he has covered Final Fantasy XIV, the revival of DOOM and the much loved Rocket League as a result of crowdfunding. This newest documentary should prove to be interesting for fans as O’ Dwyer is becoming known for the high quality of information he sources for his short films. O’Dwyer often explores areas of the games industry and its creative processes that we would otherwise be unaware of.

In other news, many are aware by now that there is a Netflix Witcher series on the way. While neither a cast or a release date has yet been confirmed, there are few morsels of information for us graze on for now. The original creator of the Witcher book series, Adrzej Sapkowski is personally overseeing the production of the show. He has previously stated  “I’m thrilled that Netflix will be doing an adaptation of my stories, staying true to the source material and the themes that I have spent over thirty years writing.I’m excited about our efforts together, as well as the team assembled to shepherd these characters to life.” A great assurance to fans that authenticity will be retained. It has also been confirmed the Netflix show will handle the events of Sapkowski’s books.
