CD Projekt Group reported huge financial gains during the first half of 2016 yesterday, citing the success of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, its expansion Blood and Wine, and digital distribution service GOG.com.
The result center on CD Projekt's site reports 319 million PLN (Polish Zloty) in sales revenue and 135 million PLN in net profit. A majority of the former revenue was thanks to CD Projekt Red with 265 million PLN, with GOG.com contributing 69 million PLN to that overall sales number.
Listed on the website as key achievements for the company include the aforementioned expansion, the announcement of multiplayer card game Gwent, and GOG.com's summer promotion.
The recently announced The Witcher 3: Game of the Year Edition will be releasing tomorrow for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
