Released back in February 2016 for PC, The Town of Light is a 1st person psychological horror game that's inspired by true events. Taking place in the very real Volterra Psychiatric Asylum in Tuscany, Italy, players are given a glimpse into the treatment of those suffering with mental illness throughout the mid-part of the 20th century.
Players are placed in the shoes of Renee, a 16-year-old resident of Volterra. The aim is to explore the now dilapidated facility in an attempt to piece together Renee's past.
The enhanced version of The Town of Light is offering new puzzles, new story-supporting content, reworked voiceover dialogue, additional interactive elements, and a graphical and UI overhaul. In addition to the console versions being released, there will also be an enhanced PC release.
The Town of Light will release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Windows PC on June 6, 2017 and will retail for $19.99/€19.99/£15.99. If you already own a copy on PC you will receive the enhanced release free of charge.
