The Nintendo Summer Sale is Underway

The Nintendo eShop Summer Sale is running from June 23 through to July 6, with big discounts on first-party and third-party titles, as well as some DLC items. Nintendo-published games getting a price drop is rare, so it's the perfect time to pick something up at an affordable price.

The Nintendo Summer Sale is Underway

Summer sale season is upon us. It might feel like the show’s star is the Steam Summer Sale, but Nintendo’s eShop has some great savings on offer too. Discounts on titles for the Nintendo Switch range from 25% on big-name games to 80% on some smaller ones. There are even savings to be made on DLC for reduced games too. The sale went live on the Nintendo eShop and Amazon and runs from June 23 at 9:00 a.m. to July 6 at 11:59 p.m. (PT).

The sale includes Nintendo’s own titles, AAA blockbusters, and indie games too. First-party games like Super Mario Odyssey and The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening are reduced by 30%. It’s a welcome time of year for those familiar with how rarely Nintendo titles drop their prices.

Publishers like Ubisoft and 2K even have their own dedicated sales as part of the summer sale. Ubisoft’s Immortals Fenyx Rising is a whopping 75% off. Meanwhile, 2K’s Borderlands Legendary Collection is 60% off. It’s the perfect time to grab anything you’ve been eyeing to keep you busy for the summer.
