News of Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.3 hit Twitter on the game’s official account, giving some quick information and linking to the Square Enix site with more details, regarding the requirements players will need to have fulfilled to access the patch’s main scenario, Reflections in Crystal.

Final Fantasy XIV Patch 5.3 will release on the 11th of August. According to the details, in order to enjoy the main scenario that comes with the patch, players will need to complete the Chronicles of a New Era – The Crystal Tower quest, The Light of Hope. They’ll also need to complete one of the following side quests: My Little Chocobo (Twin Adder), My Little Chocobo (Maelstrom), or My Little Chocobo (Immortal Flames).
