Set in a contemporary-style post-crisis USA after a virus outbreak has caused the collapse of government and society in general, players take on the role of an agent of the “Strategic Homeland Division” as they fight to restore order to New York City “street by street”. In doing so they also hope to give civilians hope for a better future, but the “Free Men”, the primary hostile faction announced in the trailer, have no intention of making this easy. But your agent is more than prepared for the task; by looting, crafting, modding and upgrading gear, you’ll be more than ready to handle whatever the chaotic post-apocalypse can throw at you.
The Division Resurgence will be completely open-world and can be explored either in solo or co-op modes where players can engage in various activities, from story missions to world activities. As previously mentioned there will be plenty of loot to find, as well as levels to be gained, which will allow you to improve your skills in your chosen specialization to find a playstyle that’s right for you. Ubisoft also promises that the controls have been tailored specifically for mobile devices to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
The Division Resurgence is coming to mobile at an as yet unannounced date, and registration is currently open for a chance to play in the alpha.
