The Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil In Me Shows Its Murderous Setting In New Trailer

The newest chapter in The Dark Picture Anthology. The Devil In Me reveals its story in a new trailer along with a release window and different editions. Players will delve into a hotel-turned murder maze and attempt to keep five unfortunate souls alive till the credits roll.

The newest chapter is titled The Devil In Me and will include the usual plot of five soon-to-be terrorised characters entering a themed horror scenario. The new trailer focuses on the general story and reveals that the game will release sometime in autumn. 

The Devil In Me follows a TV crew (one particular member played by Oscar nominee Jessie Buckley) receiving a mysterious phone call from a man named Granthem Du’Met. He offers them an invitation to a faithful recreation of the H. H. Holmes murder castle which they accept. Things quickly turn south with the building becoming a deadly trap and the crew having to navigate the rat maze with similar live-or-die scenarios to the real killer’s creation. Just like all Supermassive games, each character can live or die making almost every choice important. Check out the trailer below:

Alongside the new footage, we get a look at the pre-order options for The Devil In Me. The Standard edition will come with the typical Curator’s Cut DLC that lets players navigate the story through different perspectives and gives more life and death choices to ponder in this alternative experience from the original cut of the game.

In addition, Bandai Namco announced that players in the United States and Canada will soon be able to purchase a new diorama of the mysterious host of The Dark Pictures Anthology, known as the Curator. This will become available in the summer, however, players can begin pre-ordering The Devil In Me on the official Bandai Namco store and at selected retailers. The Devil In Me will be available on PC, PS4/PS5 and Xbox One/XBX this autumn.
