New games are great, right? I mean, come on, we all know that no matter who we are, we're always looking for the next game to lay our hands on. Well what do you know? PSN are not only offering some great games this Summer Sale, but they're also on a great discount!
Whilst this sale is unfortunately quite heavy on the DLC discounts and light on the actual games, there are still some great titles to be had. Lets look through some of the best!
ASSASSIN'S CREED: SYNDICATE
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate leaps headfirst into the cesspool of Victorian London, pitting two twin assassins against the corruption of a wealthy and terribly powerful gang leader turned Templar commander.
After the poor reception of Assassin's Creed: Unity, Syndicate manages to bring the franchise back up to par, receiving glowing reviews from many gaming outlets. With no Multiplayer mode, some may feel that a little something is missing from the game, but all of the effort that would have been used in Multiplayer is funnelled straight into the main plot and the DLC, both of which are outstanding.
Assassin's Creed: Syndicate is a dark and gritty adventure in a unique time period, and one that returns the often criticized franchise back up to form. It is currently £11.99 on the PSN Store, saving a whopping 60%!
DYING LIGHT: THE FOLLOWING – ENHANCED EDITION
Just when you thought the zombie genre had been bled dry, Dying Light comes over and chomps down on your neck. This game is seriously impressive. Take control of Kyle Crane, a US Government Agent as he plunges into the quarantined city of Harran, and find yourself battling with not only the undead, but humans alike, and maybe even your morals along the way.
Dying Light: The Following – Enhanced Edition also comes with ALL of the DLC. This includes the critically acclaimed The Following DLC, along with some other smaller DLC packs. Not only is this a massive steal, but the game has 10 more completely free DLC content coming over the next year, so if you're a zombie fan, get ready to sink your teeth into this.

FALLOUT 4
Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few years, or perhaps in one of those Amish communities, you no doubt know what Fallout 4 is. The game was massive, and still remains extremely popular, even through some criticisms of its story, gameplay, and RPG elements.
Fallout 4 takes you to Boston, MA, taking the role of a survivor of the apocalyptic nuclear strike that levelled the USA in the year 2077. Waking up 210 years later after quite the frosty cryo-sleep, you venture out into The Commonwealth, and its all you from there. Find a loved one, join a faction, become a farmer, the choices are all yours.
If you've still not picked up Bethesda's latest instalment in the hugely successful Fallout franchise, you are really missing out. You can also pick up the Season Pass in the PSN Summer Sale, should you be so inclined. Fallout 4 is £15.99 on the PSN Summer Sale, saving you 20% on the original price.
OUTLAST 2
Ever wanted to be afraid of the dark, video cameras and religious folk? Outlast 2 has exactly what you need.
Find yourself lost in a depraved world of cult worship, baby sacrifice and repressed childhood memories as you struggle to escape the clutches of despicable cult leader Sullivan Knoth, all whilst being subjected to some of the most jarring and disgusting scenes ever conceived in a video game. This game is NOT for the weak of heart.
Outlast 2 is a vile thrill ride, and definitely one to keep you up at night. You can buy it now for £15.49 on the PSN Summer Sale, making for a saving of 38%!
TEKKEN 7
The grand-daddy of all fighting games makes a triumphant return to form with Tekken 7. If you're a fan of caving in faces with your bare fists, this is the game for you.
Take on a wealth of opponents as you kick, punch, batter and pummel your way to victory, to prove you are the best. With a wealth of story content and an online mode that will always have you learning and improving, there is a lot of fun to be had with this game. Whilst it might not be for everyone, Tekken 7 has received good reviews for a reason, and that is nothing to be scoffed at.
