Ever since Pyre's initial announcement, fans have been waiting for a release date from the creators of Transistor and Bastion. Greg Kasavin, the Creative Director at Supergiant Games, took to the PlayStation Blog to announce when fans can get their hands on their latest game. With the team only needing to put finishing touches on the game, it will release July 25, 2017 on PS4 and Steam.
Pyre is a party-based RPG that will have players journey through Supergiant Games' "biggest and most imaginative world yet." The action is focused on a three-versus-three format, and the single-player campaign featured a branching storyline. On top of the solo play, players can compete against their friends in Versus Mode.
