Super Smash Bros. and Splatoon 2 Tournaments at E3 2018

This year's E3 event will be even crazier due to Nintendo announcing plans to host a Super Smash Bros. invitational tournament and also a Splatoon 2 World Championship. Players will be able to play the just announced new entry to the Smash series. The event will also be live-streamed for people to watch at home.

The newly announced Super Smash Bros. game took the world by storm with it's surprise reveal during the most recent Nintendo Direct. Now players eager to play the new title will have a chance at this year's E3 event.

The Super Smash Bros. invitational 2018 will take place on June 11th and 12th. Players will be able to play the newly announced game rather than older entries in the franchise. It's assumed by many that Nintendo plans to reveal gameplay and the release date at this year's E3 event.

There will also be a Splatoon 2 World Championship held at the same time. Players can now sign up a team of 4 to compete for a spot in this championship. Open qualifiers take place on April 21st at 11 A.M. P.T. and the finals to ensure a place for the championship at E3 will take place on April 28th at 8 A.M. P.T.  

More information on the new Super Smash Bros. title will come during Nintendo's event at E3 2018.
