The latest NPD results for the month of June have been released. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Nintendo’s Super Mario Maker 2, which released on June 28th, takes the top spot. June wasn’t bursting at the seams with new releases, but this isn’t to detract from Super Mario Maker 2’s achievement as numbers shows the game to be the most successful iteration of the series; beating its predecessor & Super Mario Maker 3DS. The data was shared via NPD analyst Mat Piscaella’s Twitter account.
