PlayStation Worldwide Studios boss Shuhei Yoshida sat down with GameSpot coop stage back at E3 2017 to discuss the press conference. In the discussion, Kinda Funny member Greg Miller inquired about the status of the long-known new IP being worked on by Sucker Punch Productions. The new game is reported to be open world. As expected, Yoshida admitted once again that the game is still in development. Yet, he was very brief when further pressed, as he said,
I have played many, many more times of such game; and every time I play … I shouldn't be talking any more, It is a game. They are not making movies. It is very narrow.
Be sure to check the GameSpot stage at E3 clip just below.

That comment is so weird. “It is a game. They are not making movies”. Were people expecting this new open-world IP to be a movie?

That’s shuhei trying to dodge questions and reveal anything about the new ip.
