Leaks for video games have become common in recent years, especially when studios go dark for months. Rocksteady’s next entry into the DC Universe, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is no exception. Recently, a leak for the cooperative action game has appeared, showing the main menu. The image shows a glimpse at possible live service features like a Battle Pass and different currencies.
The image below originated from 4chan and was verified by VGC from their sources. The main menu displays the four playable characters in a lobby, showing the player and bots. On the left side of the screen, it shows a chapter select menu, while the bar on the top of the screen shows options including Looks, Loadout, Social, Store, and Battle Pass. This indicates that Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League could contain live service elements.
According to VGC’s sources, the Battle Pass will be focused on cosmetic items. The currencies displayed are different forms of XP for powering up characters and customising them. Regarding the different forms of XP numbers, VGC’s sources said “You don’t start off debuffed and weak, you just start off great and can get ridiculous, like Arkham Knight’s Batman.”
Team up as Deadshot, Harley Quinn, King Shark, and Captain Boomerang in the game’s open world. Tasked with taking out the Justice League, they must also stop a hostile alien invasion, led by Brainiac. Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League releases on May 26th on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
