Street Fighter: Duel Is Set to Release in the West Very Soon

Street Fighter: Duel is an action-card mobile RPG that was announced back in 2019, then later launched in China in November of 2020. Plans for a global release had only been considered until now. Crunchyroll Games will take on the project of making the game accessible to the West. Street Fighter: Duel will be playable in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and select European countries including the UK.

In Street Fighter: Duel, fans in the west will finally get to experience a single-player story complete with cutscenes, high quality artwork, a flexible combat system, and loads of unlockable characters. There will also be multiplayer features such as a real-time PvP mode and team battles. Street Fighter: Duel will deliver the classic action one can find in any Street Fighter game with less of the traditional fighting game mechanics.

Preregistration for the game is available on the official website. Rewards that consist of in-game currency, upgrade fragments, and EXP boosters will be given out to all players for every signup milestone that has been reached. There are five milestones, and maximum rewards will be given out once 1 million players have registered. Currently, only the first milestone of 50,000 registered players have been reached.

While no official release date has been set, the game is speculated to launch sometime in late February of this year. Street Fighter: Duel will be available for Android and iOS devices.
