Starfield Images May Have Leaked

Bethesda's upcoming space RPG Starfield may have leaked images via Imgur. Where these images came from is a mystery, but it does pose some interesting questions for the open-world game while the gaming community awaits any information the tech giant has to offer.

Starfield Images May Have Leaked

Some images of an upcoming open-world space RPG have leaked online, and gamers think that they may be screenshots of Bethesda’s Starfield.

Bethesda is known for keeping its card close to its chest when working on upcoming titles and only announcing large chunks of information when it’s truly ready. Though there were many rumors circulating about it back in 2014, Bethesda didn’t drop an announcement trailer for Fallout 4 until just a few months before its release in 2015. It looks like Bethesda might be doing the same with any large Starfield updates since it was announced at E3 back in 2018 but we haven’t received much since.

But some images that are supposedly screenshots of the upcoming Starfield surfaced on Imgur. One image shows off a ship from a third-person view of a player-controlled character while the second image seems to be a rugged spaceship with some scorch marks, possibly indicating some spaceship combat featured in Starfield

The alleged Starfield leaked images seem to match the realistic and weathered space vibe fans are expecting from the game. Though, the screenshot of the astronaut wearing a jetpack raises some questions. This could mean Bethesda will decide to go with a solely third-person playstyle, or it could mean players can toggle between first and third-person.

While Starfield currently remains Bethesda’s priority, this means that The Elder Scrolls VI is likely still years away. No release date or window for the upcoming space RPG has been announced, which doesn’t bode well for anyone hoping for news on the next installment of the Elder Scrolls main series.
