A 30-second trailer for the yet to be officially announced Star Wars Battlefront 2 leaked today courtesy of user TheSpicinberg on Vimeo.
Found below, the video showcases notable characters both new and old from the beloved franchise, including Rey, Kylo Ren, Yoda, and Darth Maul. A pre-order incentive promises the addition of this year's The Last Jedi protagonists as well.
These inclusions meld well with EA's conference call this past January, where Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson claimed that the sequel will span multiple eras in the universe.
The single player portion of the story appears to center around a female Imperial pilot after the events of Return of the Jedi, although this remains speculation for now. Hopefully fans might learn more come this weekend.
This comes as good news for Star Wars fans, as one of the main criticisms behind 2015’s Star Wars: Battlefront was its lack of a single-player portion.
