Square Enix’s Funny Reaction to an Edit of Noctis With a New Hairstyle

Square Enix's Funny Reaction To An Edit Of Noctis With A New Hairstyle

You know you’ve succeeded in making a great character design if a person recognizes them just by looking at their silhouette. Square Enix has seemed to have done this by giving their characters, well, pretty crazy hairstyles.

Final Fantasy is no stranger to characters with these hairstyles. Take Seymour’s, from Final Fantasy X, for example, and while we’re at it, we can also look at Cloud Strife’s, from Final Fantasy VII, hair-wax draining hairstyle. It must’ve been really hard to take care of that. Anyway, these hairstyles are very important to their character design as one person on Twitter has proven. In a tweet, the Twitter user @cloudstrifememe posted an edited picture of Noctis with his father’s hairstyle during his earlier days.

This photo has circulated around Twitter garnering different reactions from different users. Other people have drawn similarities to Kurt Martin‘s hairstyle from The Suite Life of Zack and Cody while others thought that he looked like Elijah Wood, the actor who played Frodo Baggins in The Lord of The Rings.

Square Enix has caught wind of this and replied:

This is a firm reminder that a person’s hair (and their attire) really does make the person. It’s great to see big game companies having interactions like these with their fans. Square Enix, for example, has since ramped up their fan interactions and posted this tweet.
