Sonic Mania Collectors Edition is SEGA's latest venture back into the Sonic franchise. With a mix of remastered classic areas and brand new ones, there is no doubt that this iteration of the classic saga will appeal to both new and old school players.

SEGA had previously announced that the game would not be available for European audiences. However, they have now revealed that this is not the case, and European fans of the blue hedgehog will be able to purchase the game when it releases in Spring 2017.

The Game comes with a myriad of accessories to appeal to any Sonic fan. Packaged in a stylish Deluxe Collector's Box are a few snazzy bits of kit. A cast of the beautifully retro SEGA Cartridge, a Golden Ring which is instantly recognisable to any Sonic fan, a metallic collector's card with a download key for the game itself, and most impressively, a 12'' statue of the speedster. This isn't just any statue, though, a press of a button on the base of the statue lets out the classic "sayyyguhhh", a sound which will evoke nostalgic memories in anyone who had the pleasure of playing the original games.

If you're a huge fan of the original Sonic games, this may indeed be the purchase for you. Sonic Mania Collector's Edition will be available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One in Spring 2017, with pre-order options now available on SEGA's official website and of course, Amazon.
