Rooster Teeth, the creators of Red vs. Blue and RWBY, announced last month that they would be reviving various old web series that were initially owned by Machinima. One of the series that would be returning would be Sonic for Hire. The series is a parody series based on the Sonic the Hedgehog series, much like how Rooster Teeth's own Red vs. Blue is a parody of the Halo series. The show follows a jobless Sonic the Hedgehog as he attempts to return to his former glory after years of bad games by staring in other titles, like Paper Boy, Pokemon, and Golden Ax.
The series originally ended in 2013, but the creators of the show announced that the show would return under the name "Hedgehog for Hire," as Warner Brothers still own the rights to the show. Now, after years of waiting, fans can watch Sonic and the gang get into new wacky, crude, and drug-filled adventures. Hedgehog for Hire returns today with all previous episodes now available on Rooster Teeth and new ones premiering every week.
