Someone from ARMS is Coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

You didn’t think they forgot, did you? Well, even if you did, we wouldn’t blame you. Revealed today in a surprise Nintendo Direct Mini, someone from ARMS will be joining Super Smash Bros Ultimate. Which character specifically is a mystery that Nintendo will revel in keeping from us until the official announcement.

This ARMS representative will mark the first fighter to join the game since Nintendo revealed the second Fighters Pass, where a total of 6 new fighters will join the already-revealed Piranha Plant, Joker, Hero, Banjo-Kazooie, Terry Bogard, and Byleth as Smash Ultimate DLC. While the game has made numerous references to ARMS via Spirits and using Spring Man as an assist trophy, this will mark the first roster appearance for the fledgling franchise.

For those keen on following fan theories, should Spring Man make the jump from Assist Trophy to actual fighter, similar to how Little Mac played out, it opens the potential even more for certain characters to finally get their invite. Browsing social media, it shouldn’t take long to understand who people are hoping for, should that be the case.
