With less than a month till Middle-Earth: Shadow of War's release, the hype train is getting pushed to the max as the game gets a teaser trailer for a longer trailer that will be coming out later in the week. It's probably not a bad move after the recent string of controversies that Warner Bros. has managed to accrue over microtransactions.
The trailer centres around Talion's assault of an Uruk fortress, using a level of shock an awe that surpasses anything in the first game. Dragons rain fire and lumbering cave trolls obliterate the sturdy defensive gates. Amidst the chaos, which switches between CGI and live action, Talion finds himself faced with a choice – save one of his pitiable Uruk captains or eliminate one of the enemy's.
You'll have to wait till September 18th to find out what happens next but I think it's safe to say you'll probably be rooting for the friendly little Uruk unless you're some sort of monster. The full game releases on October 10th. For the teaser trailer check below.
