From the trailer below, it is clear that the Square-Enix owned developers, Eidos Montréal, have decided to take an interesting turn on the character of Lara Croft in the well-received series. Although the trailer shows very little gameplay footage of the forthcoming game, which is set to be released September 14th 2018, it does show Lara Croft hauling herself up a cliff, running through a collapsing tomb and hunting enemies in a epic jungle scene.
With this, it seems evident that Shadow of the Tomb Raider will adopt a more serious narrative, with darker elements in comparison to the 2013 Tomb Raider and Rise of the Tomb Raider, which was released back in 2015. Take a look at the trailer below, and see what you think.
