Two new Metroid games are currently well into development for Nintendo Switch, according to popular Nintendo YouTuber SuperMetalDave64. One of the purported new games is likely to be shown at E3.
Appearing on SpawnCast this past weekend, Dave mentioned that one of the titles is indeed being developed by Retro Studios and will be in 3D. He refers to this title as Metroid Prime 4. This lines up with reports from Emily Rogers, a well-known Nintendo insider, who has stated that the studio has been developing a new title for over three years.
Dave goes on to mention that the second Metroid title is being developed by Climax Studios, responsible for games like Silent Hills: Memories and Assassin's Creed: Chronicles. Though unsure as to whether or not it will be in 3D or 2D, the YouTuber did say that of the two rumored games, this one is most likely to appear at this year's E3.

Did you give proper credit to the artist of that picture of Samus? Looks like the watermark was removed. Seems stolen. Not that you probably care.
