After setting their last game in Ancient Greece, Assassin's Creed may be taking a page from the God of War series by setting its next game in the Viking Age. Earlier this week, Youtuber JorRaptor released a video discussing a poster found in The Division 2. The image, seen below, was taken from an Assassin's Creed forum and shows a Norse God holding what looks to be an Apple of Eden, ancient items that play a significant part in the Assassin's Creed universe.

With the last game in the series, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, leaning more towards action/RPG gameplay and having ship combat similar to Black Flag, it would seem like the most natural choice, if the series were to continue down this path. We'll have to wait till 2020, as Ubisoft confirmed last year that the series will be taking a break this year, save for the release of Assassin's Creed III Remastered last week.
