If a listing on Amazon Japan is any indication, Modern Warfare Remastered may be getting the standalone treatment. Better yet, the title is set to release late next month.

Rumor: Call of Duty: MW Remastered To Get Standalone Release
Today Amazon Japan put up a listing on their website for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, adding more speculation to the prospect of the title having a standalone release.

Scheduled to be released on June 20th, 2017, this listing comes after Gamefly listed the title on its website with the same release date for the PlayStation 4 version. Interestingly, a separate listing on the same website also claimed that the Xbox One version would be released a full month after the PlayStation 4 version, on July 20th, 2017. Each link has been removed since then.

At the moment the only way to  play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is by purchasing either the Digital Deluxe, Legacy, Legacy Pro, or Legacy and Destiny Bundle editions of Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare which cost $99.99, $79.99, $119.99, and $129.99 respectively.

Though Activision has not announced whether or not these rumors are true, if they they are, this release will most likely be announced soon.
