Red Dead Redemption 2 Comes To PC On November 5th
Rockstar Games has finely confirmed that Red Dead Redemption 2 will be moseying its was onto PC this November, with other PC platforms getting it later in the year.
After months of rumours & leaks, Red Dead Redemption 2 is making its way to PC on November 5th. The game will be available to pre-order on Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, The Humble store & GameStop, as well as Rockstar’s own games launcher. RDR2 will also be coming to Steam & Google Stadia later this year.
Pre-ordering on Rockstar’s launcher comes with some tasty goodies, including…
* 50 gold bars in RDR2 Online
* Treasure map for story mode
* Cash bonus for story mode
* Outlaw survival kit for story mode
* War horse for story mode
If all those goodies aren’t enough, the PC version is getting exclusive story content, not found in the console version. The outstanding upgrades in visuals are a given, but the PC port will have new bounty hunting missions, gang hideouts, weapons & more. RDR2 Online will be free to play & contain the latest content update, “frontier pursuits”.
The developer has been criticised in the past for their lazy attitude toward PC ports, but they appear to be mending some bridges with this news. Time will tell how successful this version will be, but if all these things come together, the PC version will be the best way to play Red Dead Redemption 2.
