Rainbow Six Siege Announces Two Week Long Halloween Event

After a leak last week, we got confirmation on the upcoming Rainbow Six Siege Halloween event. The two-week event that starts October 27 will let players roam in a new map as they fight for sweet treats and puppet-like cosmetics for the ten available operators.

Rainbow Six Siege Announces Two Week Long Halloween Event

Puppet-like figures of your favorite operators are invading with Sugar Fright, this year’s Halloween event for Rainbow Six Siege. It starts tomorrow (October 27) to November 10.

Similar to Kill Confirmed from recent Call of Duty entries, players will have the classic Siege experience with two teams of five, with some twists. You get unlimited respawns in this new map, Neighborhood. Kill an enemy and collect the candy they drop, or snag what your dead friends drop to prevent points going over to your opponents. Collect 50 treats, then your team wins.

The attackers include:

  • IQ
  • Zofia
  • Nomad
  • Capitao
  • Thermite

The defenders include:

  • Frost
  • Pulse
  • Ela
  • Castle
  • Goyo

As always, with these special game modes, you can unlock various cosmetic items for guns and operators to make everything look like it came straight out of the Muppets. Rather than grinding through, you can buy it with the in-game currency. Operators Bundles cost 1680 credits each, or the Sugar Fright Packs will cost 300 R6Credits or 12,500 Renown.

Last week, like most things Siege related, the event was leaked on Reddit. The game mode, rules, and map, along with the theme of the operator skins, came up from user Zer0Bytes_.

Ubisoft’s flagship competitive shooter is currently in its Shadow Legacy season, which features some of the biggest changes to the core mechanics and the first cross-over operator with Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell.
