Quake Champions closed beta began last weekend but an incoming update and a "large-scale tech test" announced by Bethesda will open the game up for everyone from May 12 through May 21. This means that all you need to do to play the game is sign up. The player non-disclosure agreement is also lifted on 12th of May meaning that players will be able to share their gameplay screens and videos online for everyone to see.
A new 4v4 "Sacrifice mode" is also incoming, obviously looking to find its place in the esports scene while giving it a unique spin in line with the Quake franchise.
