PUBG On A Mobile Device Looks Surprisingly Good

Yesterday, it was confirmed that a mobile version of Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds was digitally released in China. So, in case you ever wondered if PUBG on mobile was possible or indeed, how it would play, you’ll be surprised to learn just how similar to the full release it is.

PUBG On A Mobile Device Looks Surprisingly Good
With the technology of mobile gaming becoming increasingly powerful, gone are the days of assuming they would all be basic top down RTS games. In the case of PUBG mobile, the China release is every bit the PUBG you know and love. The format remains the same as players drop into a map from an aircraft and begin hunting for resources to fight with. Although, we’d expect nothing less than a few glitches and problems that still need fixing. Players have reported being unable to deploy their parachute only to infinitely face plant the map. But movement controls are responsive and fit well to Battlegrounds’ more frenzied moments.

Developed by Timi and published by tech giant, Tencent, the game is only available in Chinese-language and can only be downloaded from the Chinese App Store. There is currently no word as yet on an international release.
