PS1 Classic – 20 Pre-Loaded Games Lineup Revealed

Sony finally shows off the entire list of games that will come pre-loaded on the upcoming PS1 classic. Many classics are included and some surprising gems as well. Fans will be ecstatic to see which games they'll have access to come December.

Sony will be entering the mini console race soon with their own PlayStation Classic releasing soon. The original reveal only showed off a mere 5 of the 20 promised games with hits such as Final Fantasy VII and Wild Arms. These were a great appetizer for fans but many have been clamouring for the full list. It goes as followed:

  • Battle Arena Toshinden
  • Cool Boarders 2
  • Destruction Derby
  • Final Fantasy VII
  • Grand Theft Auto
  • Intelligent Qube
  • Jumping Flash
  • Metal Gear Solid
  • Mr Driller
  • Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee
  • Rayman
  • Resident Evil Director’s Cut
  • Revelations: Persona
  • Ridge Racer Type 4
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • Syphon Filter
  • Tekken 3
  • Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six
  • Twisted Metal
  • Wild Arms

Many fans are ecstatic to see such huge hits for the system such as the original Metal Gear Solid and Rayman games to name a few. Others are slightly upset at the exclusion of other classics such as Spyro, Crash, Silent Hill, Parappa The Rapper and others just to name a few. There are however PS4 remasters of Crash and Spyro out soon that players can play instead.

The system will retail for 99.99$ USD and includes 2 analog controllers, an HDMI cord, one USB cord for power plus a manual and box replicating the originals from the nineties.  It will not include an AC power adapter but many TV's allow USB ports to be used as power sources and if not adapters are cheap. The console will be released on Dec. 3 of this year.
