Featuring everybody’s favorite Mythical Pokémon, Mew, “Fusion Strike” showcases the power of friendship with “Fusion Strike Style,” a new form of card that provides extra support to Pokémon denoted with a Fusion symbol. These will come in the form of Trainer cards, Special Energy cards, and Fusion Style Pokémon. There aren’t a ton of details available on just what sorts of abilities and buffs we’ll see in the Fusion Strike Style cards, but it’s safe to say that they will be spread wide enough to allow for some creative deck building.
Pokémon Trading Card Game: Sword & Shield – Fusion Strike will be available worldwide on November 12, 2021, for your regional pricing.
Beyond Mew VMAX, there are 25 total Fusion Strike cards include Hoopa V and Genesect V. Also included are 20 Pokémon V and 13 full-art Pokémon V, eight Pokémon VMAX, 20 Trainer cards and seven full-art Supporter cards, and one Special Energy card.
The set will be available across a number of different packages, such as booster packs, Elite Trainer Boxes, and special collections. Those who want to get early access can look for the Build & Battle Box, available October 30, 2021.
