Pokémon Go Inspired Jurassic Park Game Coming Soon

Universal Pictures hoping to bite off the success of Pokémon Go is developing their own title focusing upon their smash-hit Jurassic Park, called Jurassic World Alive. The game will allow players to catch, create and fight other player's dinosaurs. Players can play in public or from home depending on their playstyle.

Universal Pictures has partnered with Canadian developers Ludia to create a brand-new experience for Jurassic Park fans called Jurassic World AliveThe app will coincide with the upcoming release of the new film in the franchise Jurassic Word: Fallen Kingdom. 

Jurassic World Alive will allow players to catch and breed their own dinosaurs that spawn in areas around them utilizing similar GPS technology to Pokémon Go. They will also be able to fight other players dinosaurs. Players can mix different forms of dinosaur DNA together to create their own unique dinosaurs as well.

No information has been given on specific details on how battles will work or how detailed the maps wil be in-game. Players can also utilize in-game drones to collect DNA for them if they're unable to collect on their own. The app will be available for all IOS and Android devices around the June 22nd, 2018 release date of Jurassic Word: Fallen Kingdom. ​​​​
