Pokemon Go Adds Sirfetch’d and Galarian Ponyta

Sirfetch'd is now available in Pokemon GO along with Galarian Ponyta and Rapidash. It's part of the new event launched in celebration of The Crown of Tundra DLC for the Pokemon Sword and Shield Expansion pass. It's time to get yourself a Pokemon Go Sirfectch'd.

Pokemon Go Adds Sirfecth'd and Galarian Ponyta Galarian Farfetch’d had once before been made available in Pokemon Go, during the celebration period after Isle of Armor, Sword and Shield’s first expansion was released. Now to commemorate part 2, The Crown of Tundra, getting your own Pokemon Go Sirfecth’d and Galarian Ponyta is finally an option! The Pokemon Go Live post explaining the details states that until 6pm PDT today (Friday the 23rd of October), more Galarian Farfetch’d will be appearing in the wild whilst “My Little Ponyta” will appearing in Raid Battles. 

Even though you’ll be able to catch Galarian Farfecth’d and Ponyta in the wild until the event ends, each will be made available in 7km Eggs to hatch afterwards, so you’ll still be able to evolve them into Sirfecth’d and Rapidash respectively if you haven’t got enough candies by the end of today! Galarian Ponyta can simply evolve when you have enough candies. To evolve a Galarian Farfetch’d however, you’ll need to make ten Excellent Throws when catching Pokemon with it as your buddy. 

As a bonus, new avatar items that resemble the clothing worn in Sword and Shield’s Crown of Tundra expansion are available in the style shop for absolutely free. Open up your apps and get yourselves a Pokemon Go Sirfetch’d and free avatar clothes when you can!
