Sony has announced July’s PlayStation Plus games, with Call of Duty Black Ops 4, WWE 2K Battlegrounds and A Plague Tale: Innocence all available for free until August 2nd.
Black Ops 4 and WWE 2K Battlegrounds are available on PS4 (backwards compatible on PS5), A Plague Tale: Innocence is available only on PS5. For a second month, Virtua Fighter is available for free for all PlayStation Plus members.
Treyarch’s Black Ops 4 is most notably known for being the first (and only so far) Call of Duty game to not feature a single-player campaign. The 2018 title was also the first in the franchise to introduce a battle royale in the form of Blackout. Traditional Zombies is also included; however, unlike Black Ops: Cold War, does not include free DLC.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds only released in September 2020 but will make its way to PS Plus this month. Battlegrounds is a spin-off of the more traditional WWE games developed by 2K.
A Plague Tale: Innocence PS5 edition launches via PlayStation Plus next week. Sony has said the updated version targets 60 FPS and run at a native 4k resolution.
Members hoping to grab June’s PlayStation Plus games of Star Wars: Squadrons and Operation: Tango have until July 5th.
