How this will work for retail copies is unclear for now, but hopefully Bethesda will clear things up for us soon enough! The official release date for Dishonored 2 is November 11th, but people who buy the game ahead of time get to start playing the game on November 10th. As mentioned earlier we do not know how Bethesda will handle retail pre orders, but online buyers will be able to download the game a day early
