According to reports online, developer Atlus' highly anticipated JRPG Persona 5 has sold through 70% of its original shipment in Japan, marking the publisher's sales expectations for the game in line with actual sales numbers.

Persona 5 was released for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 in Japan on September 15 to high praise. It will release in North America and Europe on February 14.
