This week finally brings some new news pertaining to No Man's Sky.
In a recent post on the No Man's Sky Steam news page, Hello Games has announced that they will be releasing the Pathfinder update for the game this week. The update includes a brand new vehicle which is speculated to be a land based buggy based on the hidden files in the game that were uncovered by a Redditor back in November. Down below is the video he posted where he imported the model into the game.
Hello Games also said that the update will build upon the previously released Foundation update to "hint at a path ahead for the future". There are no more hints at what else will be in the update, and detailed patch notes will, of course, be released with the update.
In addition to this announcement, they also said that when they released the Foundation update they were pleasantly surprised by the amount of feedback they received pertaining to issues in the update and since then they have been carefully listening to the community and releasing patches based on their feedback. At the end of their post they included a little message to the community which said:
"To those of you who have spent time sharing feedback, whether positive or negative, we are listening. This is the next step in our journey. It shows the path forward. We hope you'll join us."
No date has been set for the update, but it will be coming later this week.
