Overwatch Releases Over-the-Top Experimental Changes Cover

Overwatch has released a new creator experimental card featuring over one hundred crazy new experimental balance changes to the game. From simple number adjustments to entire ability reworks, this patch is truly game-changing and one you definitely don’t want to miss trying out. It’ll only be here for a limited amount of time, after all.

Don’t worry, these balance changes will most likely not be coming to the live server. Instead, Blizzard has released them for a different reason: A new Overwatch tournament. Rather than allowing players to test out changes that would normally go to live servers, this card aims to gear players up for a tournament that uses this unique set of new rules for the game. In fact, Blizzard wasn’t even the one to create this patch. Content creators Flats, Somjuu and Violet are responsible for this monstrosity.

Violet adjusted the support heroes; Flats balanced out the tank roster and finally; Somjuu took on the DPS. Although the Overwatch experimental changes are mostly for the sake of the tournament, console players and casual players alike can still take part in the fun. To play this version of the game, simply head on over to the “Experimental Card” icon. I recommend you take a quick look at the patch notes before jumping into the game mode though. They are considerably large. With changes to nearly every hero in the game, it’s not exactly going to be easy to jump right back onto your main and play as if it were quickplay.

What do you think of the Overwatch experimental changes? Is content like this enough to keep us going until Overwatch 2? Let us know your thoughts down below in the comments.
