Last night Jimmy Fallon had for his special guest the president of Nintendo of America Reggie Fils-Aime. During the show along with demos for two upcoming games Super Mario Run, and The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild he also debuted Nintendo's upcoming gaming system the Nintendo Switch.
During the show we actually got to the see the Switch in action as they played a little bit of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild for the first time on the Nintendo Switch. I have to say it looks pretty nice. It definitely runs much smoother than what we've seen on the Wii U version. I am impressed with the quality overall, my only problem is how it will run when you take the Switch on the go, because due to the camera it was hard to tell whether or not it was doing ok. Hopefully when the press conference in January hits we'll actually get a much better look at the portable screen.
Along with that we also got a look at Super Mario Run as they show off more of the World Tour mode, however we did get a glance at the other two modes Toad Rally, and Kingdom Builder. Reggie also announced at the end of the demo that there would actually be a demo for us to try for Super Mario Run on December 8. Unfortunately the only way you can try out the demo is if you go to an Apple Store where it will be featured on the iPhone's and iPad's showcased there.
Nintendo Switch will be available in March 2017.
