Rumors have surfaced on Reddit that a new Ninja Gaiden Trilogy could be on the cards for Switch and PS4 owners.
Publisher Koei Tecmo has not released a new game in the series since 2016, which means fans of the series have not had a game for the entirety of the current generation of consoles.
Reportedly, the games in the trilogy will be Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Sigma 2 and Razor’s Edge.
The listing popped up on Hong Kong-based distributor Game Source Entertainment’s website and has since been taken down. The post was dated for March of 2021 (TBC). You can view a cached version of the listing here.
While only the PS4 and Switch platforms were listed, and it is unknown whether this could land on Xbox as well.
Koei Tecmo has not commented on the Ninja Gaiden Trilogy rumor, but it could be that they are waiting for Tokyo Game Show (starting September 23) to make the announcement.
