Square Enix has revealed today via Twitter that NieR:Automata has shipped over 1.5 million copies internationally.
This number includes physical and digital download figures.
According to transcripts from the publisher's latest quarterly earnings conference, the title sold "significantly above" plans and was an important earnings contributor in the past quarter.
NieR: Automata is currently available for PlayStation 4 and PC and has already received its first DLC, titled 3C3C1D119440927. We gave it a 9.1 in our review, congratulating the title on its story and gameplay despite some camera issues here and there.
