New Nintendo eShop Downloads for Week of 11/5: FUSER, Descenders

There are plenty of new titles out on the Nintendo eShop this week, including Descenders, FUSER, Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, and Tropico 6. But what makes this week different from the rest is that there's actually one title that's not coming to Switch, but to the Nintendo 3DS.

New Nintendo eShop Downloads for Week of 11/5: FUSER, DescendersThis week we’re in for a more tempered treat in the form of new Nintendo eShop downloads. There aren’t any big first-party titles dropping, but there are some interesting and exciting games that have caught our eye and done well on other platforms.

The My Nintendo trial of Nintendo Switch Online that we talked about last week has ended, but be sure to check your rewards for any new items or promotions to redeem. Notably, this is the last week to redeem your points for an entry into the My Nintendo Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fall Sweepstakes for a chance to win themed prizes.

Unless otherwise stated, all discussed content is available as of today, November 5th.

FUSER

The creators of Rock Band and Dance Central are back with a DJ-centric title designed to give players the agency to mix their own hits. By tweezing out different instruments and vocals from pop hits, players can remix on their own or collaborate with friends, and then share their dope sound with the world. Bonus hype because the game includes Temperature by Sean Paul.

FUSER will release on the Nintendo eShop, Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 10th.

DESCENDERS

The high-speed mountain biking game finally lands on Nintendo Switch. Launch yourself down hills and procedurally generated courses while landing sick stunts and having a great time. As we noted in our review, “If that doesn’t sound good enough to you then what about jumping over a moving train whilst being prompted to pop a 360 spin in there for good fun?”

After a well-received few years on other home consoles, players can finally, well, hit the road when Descenders arrives November 6th.

SAKUNA: OF RICE AND RUIN

With “side-scrolling action and 3D-simulation style gameplay”, Sakuna sounds like it has a lot going on. But the breadth of content is part of what makes this indie title shine. The daughter of a warrior god and a harvest goddess, Sakuna is banished to a demon island and must fight her way home. The secret to her power is rice, which will need to be cultivated to stay ready for action.

Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin will be available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PC on November 10th.

With 39 titles coming to the Nintendo eShop this week, there should be something here for everybody. If you’re still holding out hope for the future of the Nintendo 3DS, there’s even one more indie title for you, too. Let us know what titles you pick up this week!
